APPRENTICESHIPS
Every year the challenge of making a decent profit from business becomes a little bit harder!!
You not only have to focus on getting sufficient profitable work orders in, but you also have to focus on making some savings, which can be achieved by getting your fair share of Government business financial incentives.
And that is where FIAA can help!
We now have an opportunity to offer you something which will:
- Assist your business and your employees to grow and become more productive
- Financial support based on training enrolment & completion - $$$$.
- Access substantial financial incentives – up to $150 per week for employers of Adult Workers (aged 25 years or over)
- Workers Compensation - Provide an exemption, by way of rebate, for workers compensation premiums – again a considerable saving of $$$$.
- Payroll Tax - If you are subject to payroll tax, you may be eligible for exemption by way of rebate – again a large saving of $$$$.
All up it is quite possible that you can now receive $10,000 or more in a year, just by converting one of your adult workers into our Apprenticeship program.
There is however a catch
What does the worker get?
- He/she may also be eligible for one of many government incentives available to apprentices
- Upon successful completion the Apprentice will receive a nationally recognised Trade qualification (Cabinet Maker)
- Training that meets their individual requirements
- Additionally for adult apprentices, they will not be required to attend TAFE college with teenagers for classmates, but instead receive training that is tailored to their individual skills and knowledge in an environment more suited to their experience.
What does it cost you the employer?
- It will cost you approximately $500 per year of enrolment, until training is completed. This would usually take up to 3 years, but dependant on the the apprentices individual skills and industry experience, that period can be shortened considerably.
- You will be required to provide some time for the apprentice to complete assignments / projects
- And also time to be assessed within your work environment by a qualified assessor.
* Enrolment fee listed relates to NSW Trainees and Apprentices. Please contact us to discuss the fees for you state.
