Australian International Furniture Fair 2-4 February 2011
The Furnishing Industry Association of Australia Ltd presents the AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR. The Fair will showcases the latest designs from Australian and international furniture manufacturers and importers. This event gives furniture and furnishing buying groups, retailers, interior designers, decorators and architects the opportunity to see and buy the latest products, learn the latest industry developments and network with their peers both at the Trade Fair and in a full program of concurrent functions.
A major feature of the AUSTRALIAN INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE FAIR is ‘The Edge' the design competition and innovation showcase held in conjunction with the Australian International Furniture Fair. Since its inception in 2004, The Edge has forged itself as a ‘must see' industry feature which promotes up and coming design talent which contributes to breathe new life into the Australian furniture industry and in turn see more design orientated products being manufactured.
Co-located with the Fair DECORATION + DESIGN Sydney is an exclusive Trade Fair for the Australian soft furnishing and interior products industries. A.W.I.S.A is an exhibition centre in Sydney conducting exhibitions on woodworking and furniture industries. A.W.I.S.A conducts international exhibition of materials, machinery, fittings and services related to the woodworking and furniture industries.
A.W.I.S.A organises and conducts exhibitions to provide service to members of A.W.I.S.A Inc. To exhibit one’s product, membership with the A.W.I.S.A association is required. A.W.I.S.A invites membership from Australian based companies and overseas companies which has Australian agents and distributors who are members of A.W.I.S.A.

Milan Furniture Fair
The Milan Furniture Fair takes place every year. This year, the city hosted the furniture fair for the 48th time. There were 278,000 visitors from 152 countries. A total of 139 exhibitors participated in the square, which covered 6,679 square metres.
The event consists of three areas:
- The trade fair section Salone Internazionale del Mobile, which also houses the lighting fair Euroluce and the talent zone SaloneSatellite.
- Zona Tortona, the young and more experimenting scene.
- The rest of the city with all the companies’ special showrooms and events.
The date for the next Milan Furniture Fair is 14 through 19 April 2010.
